Service Guarantee & Policies




At Cool Wave Cleaning, we believe in honesty, professionalism, and quality results. To keep things clear and fair for everyone, here’s what you can expect when you hire us. 

1. Satisfaction Guarantee


We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the results of your cleaning, please notify us within 7 days of service. We will return once at no charge to re-clean or retreat any areas of concern.


2. Spot & Stain Disclaimer


While we use professional-grade cleaning solutions and equipment, not all spots and stains can be removed. Factors such as the type of stain, how long it has been present, previous cleaning attempts, and the type of carpet or upholstery fibers may make some stains permanent. 

3. Wicking & Reappearing Spots

 

Some stains may reappear after cleaning due to a process called wicking, where residue deep in the carpet backing rises to the surface as the carpet dries.

  • We offer one courtesy return within 7 days to address these areas.
     
  • Any additional visits beyond the courtesy return are subject to our minimum service fee or what the scope of the job requires.

4. Minimum Service Fee


To ensure the efficiency of our scheduling, we have a minimum service fee. 

This applies to all service calls, including spot treatments or additional visits after the courtesy return. 

5. Furniture & Safety


We will move small, lightweight furniture (such as chairs and small tables) as part of our service. However, for safety reasons, we do not move:

  • Heavy items (e.g., pianos, large sectionals, entertainment centers, beds, dressers)
     
  • Fragile or breakable items
     
  • Electronics and wiring setups

6. Drying Times & Customer Care


Drying times may vary depending on carpet type, ventilation, humidity, and weather conditions. To protect your freshly cleaned areas:

  • Keep foot traffic to a minimum until fully dry.
     
  • Place foil or plastic under furniture legs to prevent staining.
     
  • Avoid spills or new stains during the drying period.

7. Liability Limitations


We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to carpet, upholstery, or tile.
     
  • Color fading, shrinkage, or texture change due to age, wear, or prior cleaning attempts.
     
  • Permanent stains or damage that cannot be removed through professional cleaning.
