Carpet

What process or method of cleaning does Cool Wave Cleaning use?
The process we use is hot water extraction also know as steam cleaning.
Yes, we use specific detergents or chemicals with different levels of ph for the type of cleaning that we are doing.
The last step in our cleaning process would be the extraction of soil and will be flushed out with a rinse to neutralize the ph levels in the fabric or surface being cleaned.
We treat all spots with professional products available today and are successful more than 95% of the time. We completely exhaust our selection of cleaners before we say the spot is permanent.
We use only the safest, most effective technology to assure not only your satisfaction, but your safety as well. We do not use any chemicals, or leave any irritant residues.
It depends on how soil or dirty the cleaning task is. On average a cleaning can take 2 to 4 hrs to complete.
It would take 12 to 24 hours for your carpets to dry. Added air flow would help with the drying process.
Light foot traffic is fine after 2 to 3 hours, but we recommend allowing 8 to 14 hours for full drying.

Upholstery

Can you clean all types of upholstery fabrics?
Yes. We clean all fabric types including microfiber, cotton, linen, wool, and synthetic blends using the safest method for each.
It would take 12 to 24 hours for your upholstery chairs to dry. Added air flow would help increase the drying process.
Most stains and odours can be fully removed. We use enzyme-based cleaners and hot water extraction to deep-clean upholstery fibers.
We recommend cleaning your furniture every 12 to 18 months to keep it fresh, allergen-free, and long-lasting.

Hardwood

Do you sand hardwood floors?
No. Our process is non-abrasive. We deep clean and polish hardwood floors without sanding or altering the finish.
We recommend professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months depending on foot traffic and floor condition.
No. Our neutral pH cleaners remove residue and leave your hardwood floors safe, clean, and naturally shiny.

Tile and Grout

Do you clean both tile floors and showers?
Yes. We professionally clean tile floors, showers, backsplashes, and countertops using specialized rotary tools and detergents.
On average it would take 2 to 4 hours to completely dry.
Absolutely. After cleaning, we can apply a clear grout sealer to protect against future staining and make maintenance easier.
Most homes benefit from professional tile and grout cleaning every 12 to 18 months depending on traffic and soil buildup.

Mattress

What does your mattress cleaning include?
Our mattress cleaning includes deep steam extraction, deodorizing, and allergen removal for a fresher, healthier sleep.
Yes. We use enzyme-based products designed to neutralize odours and break down organic stains such as urine or sweat.

Drying time averages between 12 and 24 hours depending on airflow and room humidity. Added fan can help with airflow to speed up drying time.

General Questions

What is your Cancelation Policy?
We would prefer at least 48 hours notice. Longer if possible. When you leave it too late we have an empty spot that is difficult to fill. We simply ask that you be considerate.
Once we book a second date on our schedule, we would require a deposit.
Yes we do. The reminder will be on the day before of the cleaning. If you donโ€™t have a cell phone, we will give you a call.

We have had customers book months ahead and repeat clients schedule for the following year.

Payment

Is my credit card information secure and / or is my credit card number displayed?
Yes your credit card information is secured and your credit card number is not displayed after it is stored in the system.
The payment gateway being used is Square.

We accept All Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Etransfers and Cash ($CAD).

Sorry we do not accept Cheques for residential cleanings.

Please also be advised that we do not carry a cash float with us so if you wish to pay by cash you would need to have the correct amount in change.

Service fee and Service areas

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all cleaning services over the phone or email. If it’s a large residential or commercial service within or out of our service area that needs to be seen or measured, there will be a estimate fee.

No, estimate fees are non-refundable if we come out to asset a cleaning and the customer does not book a spot on the schedule.
Yes, the fee will be applied to the total bill after the service is complete.
Yes. Cool Wave Cleaning is fully insured and trained in advanced carpet and upholstery cleaning techniques.
